An avid reader since I can remember, I have lists of books that are my go-to’s when looking for inspiration. Not all of them are fashion photography or stories. Some are novels that are beautifully written and full of gorgeous description. One of those is: The American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin. This is what a reviewer would call a “sweeping novel”.   The story of a young heiress , for me, is the least of the story. What I love are the descriptions of the clothes, the time period (think Downton Abbey) and the way I was swept away by the past.
